Joe Eby has served as pastor of Chatham Presbyterian Church since October of 1995. During this time the
church has experienced exciting growth in membership and ministries. He is a graduate of Illinois
State University and was employed by the State of Illinois for 10 years before completing a Master
of Divinity at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago IL. He also holds a Doctor of Ministry
from Western Theological Seminary in Holland, MI. Joe is passionate about casting the vision for life
in God's kingdom, seeing people's lives transformed by Christ, empowering them to develop their spiritual
gifts, and turning them loose in ministry. Joe is
married to Susan, who is retired from the State of
Illinois. Their son, daughter-in-law, and two
grandchildren live in Boone, N.C. Their
daughter attends Millikin University. |

P. Thornton Woerner - DIRECTOR OF MUSIC

Thornton Woerner joined the staff of Chatham Presbyterian Church as Director of Music in 1996. He is a
piano performance graduate of Blackburn College in Carlinville, IL and studied choral conducting at the
University of Oregon's School of Performing Arts. Thornton leads the praise band, singers, and
programming team responsible for developing contemporary worship services and has been instrumental in
bringing innovative musical programs to the church. He humbly leads the congregation
and serves as a reflection
of God's love as we worship. Thornton and his wife Judy have three children, Patrick, Rachel, and Alison.

Debbie Biel -

Debbie
Biel joined the staff of Chatham Presbyterian Church
during September 2008. As Director of Children and
Family Ministries, Debbie is dedicated to growing
our childrens’ faith through education and equipping
families to cope with the challenges of modern
society. Debbie is thrilled to make Chatham
Presbyterian Church a warm, welcoming place for
children, as well as a safety net of community and
faith encouragement for families. She has a B.A.
degree from MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL,
and received her M.A. from the University of
Illinois-Springfield in 1985. For 13 years, she
worked in the public relations and government
affairs profession, and then spent a decade involved
in early childhood programs, including Westminster
Cooperative Preschool. Debbie and her husband, Mark,
have two children, Samantha and Daniel.

Brian Durbin joined the staff of
Chatham Presbyterian Church during September 2010.
Brian has over eight
years of youth ministry experience and received his
degree in Ministry from Central Christian College in
McPherson, Ks in 1996. Brian is very excited about
what God is doing, and will continue to do through
the youth of Chatham Presbyterian. Brian is married
to Jenni and they have four children Jacob,
Elisabeth, Kayla, and Will. They are also expecting
their newest addition in March of 2011.

Donna Thurston helped start Crossroads Counseling Center in September, 2000, as a ministry of Chatham Presbyterian Church.
Donna offers faith-based counseling to Chatham and the surrounding communities. One of Donna's passions is strengthening
families and beginning a healing process within marriages.
Donna is licensed by the State of Illinois as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. She received a master's
degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN in 1989. She received a Bachelor
of Science degree from Anderson University in Anderson, IN in 1985. Donna is married with two children. |

Darcy Lovett -

Darcy
received her undergraduate degree from Purdue
University and later received her Master of Art’s
degree in Mental Health Counseling from Grace
College. With approximately 3 years of a
combination of graduate counseling training and
experience, Darcy is currently working toward
becoming credentialed as a Licensed Clinical
Professional Counselor (LCPC).
Her areas of
counseling experience include depression and anxiety
disorders, sexual abuse, grief, codependency,
marriage and other relational conflict, adjustment
disorders, phase of life problems, bipolar disorder,
spiritual confusion, self-harm, emotional abuse, and
premarital counseling. Darcy has experience working
primarily with adults and young adults.
Darcy is a
member of the American Association of Christian
Counselors.

Bill Yattoni joined the staff of Chatham
Presbyterian Church during January 2009. Bill
has a B.S. degree in Finance from the University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois. For 22
years, he worked as an Examiner for the Federal
Deposit Insurance Corporation. Bill and his
wife, Jennifer, have two children.
